How does the AI estimating work?
You upload a blueprint or plan-set PDF, and BuildCrux returns a line-item draft estimate — category, description, quantity, unit, unit price, and total — in minutes. Multiple AI models independently price and cross-check every line in what we call a multi-model review, so the numbers get several independent looks before you see them. From there you review and adjust the draft to match how you actually build the job.
How much does BuildCrux cost?

The estimate is a starting draft you review and adjust — it is not a final or guaranteed bid, and you always have the last word on pricing. Accuracy is higher on vector or born-digital PDFs with selectable text than on scanned or photographed plans, since the AI can read the real dimensions and callouts. Treat it as a fast, thorough first pass that saves takeoff time, then apply your own rates and judgment.
Is my data private?
